    Christmas markets – book and film recommendations and events for 2023

    The ( jubilee ) year has passed so quickly and already many cities are glittering and twinkling, the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds is in the air and Christmas melodies are playing everywhere: it is impossible to miss that Christmas is approaching and the Christmas markets – no matter what the temperature – are attracting visitors.  That’s why we want to take you with us to our partner cities in this newsletter and report on how the Advent season is celebrated there. We also have a few tips for long winter evenings and the first event dates for the new year.

    It is almost 2 months since we packed our bags for our trip to Saint-Florent-sur-Cher. We brought back many fond memories from the reunion and are now looking forward to hearing from our twin towns again (see page 3).
